5 Things

March 22, 2015

The five most important things I’ve learned about disc golf in the last 2+ years.

1) Putting is all about confidence. If you think you are going to miss you will miss. Find a putter that is comfortable in the hand, develop a fluid stroke and believe in your ability to make the putt.

2) Develop a solid approach game. If you can place your disc within 20 feet of the basket when approaching you will make more putts.

3) Forget about your last shot. Many people let their last shot effect their next shot, forget about it and worry about the shot in hand.

4) Choose the shot you know you can make not the shot you think you can make. Choosing high percentage shots will lower your score.

5) Play your game, do not let what the other players are doing effect what you are doing.
